Orkin employees receive a detailed education and instruction through Orkin University, an award-wining, state-of-the-art facility. Orkin University gives employees the skills and knowledge they need to please customers, maintain the company’s competitive advantage and achieve their career goals. Training is provided through classroom instruction, online training and satellite transmissions to our branch locations.

The university facility accommodates more than 100 students and is equipped with simulated training environments, including a model home with a partial basement, a bakery, grocery store, hospital room and restaurant kitchens. All training is closely monitored to ensure each employee’s compliance with state mandated educational and licensing requirements. Orkin University is such a fine institution, it’s no surprise it’s a perennial recipient of the Top 125 Training Awards.

College of Service
Provides termite and pest control specialists with the skills and industry knowledge they need for safe and effective pest management.
College of Sales
Equips account managers with the skills and product information they need to sell consultatively, cultivate new business and grow company sales.
College of Administration
Trains employees on a range of topics that help them understand and meet the needs of all our customers.
College of Management
Preparing Orkin managers for further success and career advancement through courses in areas such as management fundamentals, communications and problem solving.
College of Leadership
Providing continual opportunities for the professional growth and development of career employees, so Orkin can maintain its reputation as an industry leader.
Orkin University also offers correspondence courses with Texas A&M, Purdue University and The American Institute of Baking, including pest management certification, termite education, customer service skills, and pest control operations.
